Minutes of  the Wednesday December 5, 2001 Executive Special Meeting
 

1. Call to order

President Joe Willer, City of American called for a special meeting for the purpose of filling vacant officer positions. The meeting was called to order at 12:10 P.M. at Cattleman’s Restaurant in Santa Rosa.

2. Self Introductions

Pres. Willer welcomed 14 guest and each member introduced him/herself.

3. Nomination and Election of Officer

Pres. Willer brought up the problem of vacant officer positions. He said that the bylaws require a slate of officers to be submitted by the nominations committee prior to the December meeting. At the December meeting an election is held and the officers are installed. Due to the lack of volunteers there were no names submitted for the offices. Now this special meeting must be held and officers elected before the December meeting can take place.

Pres. Willer opened the nominations for the office of the President. Chris Warrick was nominated from the floor. Pres. Willer called for anymore nomination from the floor. Having none he called for the vote and Chris Warrick was elected president for the coming year of 2002.

Pres. Willer opened the nominations for the office of the Vice President. Mary Jane Fagalde was nominated from the floor. Pres. Willer called for anymore nomination from the floor. Having none he called for the vote and Mary Jane Fagalde was elected vice president for the coming year of 2002.

Pres. Willer opened the nominations for the office of the Secretary. Ed Henry was nominated from the floor. Pres. Willer called for anymore nomination from the floor. Having none he called for the vote and Ed Henry was elected secretary for the coming year of 2002.

Pres. Willer opened the nominations for the office of the Treasurer. Joe Willer was nominated from the floor. Pres. Willer called for anymore nomination from the floor. Having none he called for the vote and Joe Willer was elected treasurer for the coming year of 2002.

4. Other Business for the Special Meeting

Pres. Willer calling for any other special matters to be brought before the chapter and finding none adjourned the special meeting.
